You can get a manual in English online. If you buy this phone be sure to keep all the paperwork, receipts, etc., since you will probably need it in five or six months when the phone goes kaput. This phone looks great, has nice sound, but is frustrating to use, since it did not come with a manual in English, but three manuals in other languages (the box was in English). Other TADs I have owned always beeped with new messages, but the blinking light on top of this phone is hard to see, and if you blink you may miss the blinking light. Nice looking but unreliable phone.
I would buy another in a heartbeat or give as a gift. I dont see why the wallpaper is so important to some, you dont look at the phone all day like you do with your computer.
Have had NO problems with it. I have had this phone for 2 years now.
Anyone that finds the phone difficult to set up are people that have problems with most any electronic device, so dont judge set up buy these people. I use it on the Vonage Network and works great.

I purchased this phone dec. of 2008 ilove it and all the features but. 2weeks after warrenty was up one of my phones totaly died philops did nothing but frontgate refunded my phone was able to purchase another on amazon another bad feature the batteries do not stay charged phone dies after 3hours (not on charger) but ill try again i really like all the features and the alarm and the do not disturb. cathy galati schaumburg il.
My phone doesn't use a sim card and you can't put other memory cards or connect to a PCSpecial ringers - these don't work for me because for some reason whenever I call the phone from my cell phone it says my voice mail is calling so nobody answers. I liked the design of it, and the size of the phone and was ready for something stylish especially when clients come to the office. The caller ID is horrifyingly bad. If you like holding a phone to your ear for over an hour, this phone is great.
I have to squint and peer at it to even read it and even then half the time I can't tell what in the world it is saying. Otherwise you better be wiling to share your conversation with everyone around you. Sim card for address book only. I purchased this phone for my home office after weeks of research on other phones. All in all, this phone fails to deliver. I don't have any address book entries named voicemail, it just does it on its own, which leads me to my problems with the Caller ID.Caller ID:I'm giving this its own section because this is the actual reason why I'm getting rid of this phone.
Its miniscule. They have this giant color display and the text on the caller ID is TINY.
I'm giving it away to my sister who doesn't need the features I need like the ability to see who is calling and talk to someone on a headset. The Pros:Its very stylish, the handset feels like velvet, the clock display is excellent.The Cons:Its a horrible phone, my handset buttons stick all the time or don't press when I press them.There are no headset jacks or BT capabilities.
I've missed many important phone calls just because I can't tell who is calling me. It doesn't display my number either, just says voice mail.
Also for a lot of clients that call me it says voice mail is calling as well instead of displaying their actual phone numbers. I'm only 32 years old so its not like I have eyesight issues.
Lucky her, because this phone costs more than its worth.
It's a good phone. Delivers on the promises. My only complaint would be that the ringer volume isn't high enough.
